Right to half-price tickets
Students
Students from public or private elementary schools, high schools, and colleges, pursuant to State Act no. 7844/1992. Proof of student status can be made by school or college card submission, as set forth in Provisional Measure no. 2208/01. If the document does not contain a picture, the Identity Card (RG) submission may be required. In case the student’s card does not have a validity date, a banking slip or a schooling declaration issued by the academic unit must be submitted. Those who do not have a college or school card can submit the banking slip or schooling declaration issued by the institution, besides the official identification document. Falsifying or using a false private document configures the perpetration of the crimes contemplated by Articles 298, 299, and 304 of the Criminal Code.
Teachers
Teachers from the State public education system, pursuant to State Act no. 10858/2001, upon submission of a professional card issued by the State Department of Education.
Pensioners
Pensioners, pursuant to City Act no. 12325/1997, upon submission of a document proving their status and of an Identity Card (RG).
